Step 1 - Register Your profile i.e (Name/Company Name, Primary Email Address, Contact Number, IC Number/Passport Number/Company Registration Number). through the online form and then verify the primary email address via an email notification sent to your registered primary email address
Step 2 – Fill the Subscription form After you have verified your primary email, you will automatically directed to the online subscription form for you to fill e.g. phone number(s) and the respective forwarding email address(es). Click Save Settings once you have completed.You are allowed to enter upto 10 unique numbers and for each numbers you can register upto 3 forwarding email address.
Step 3-Validate your phone numbers & verify the forwarding email You will receive email notification of your subscription and at the same an email will be send to forwarding emails to verify the forwarding emails. To validate your registered phone number(s) by calling to our center at 0388910910 from the subscribed phones .You will hear a voice message “Your Voice2email services has been activated.Thank You” Please also inform your colleagues to verify each forwarding email via the email notifications sent for each forwarding email.
Step 4 – Call forwarding set-up After you have done phone Validation as in Step 3, an email notification will be sent and you will be informed the status of your subscription and instruction on ways to set-up your call forwarding..
This “Voice2email Facility Service” Pilot Test is carried out by Telekom Malaysia Berhad (Company No. 128740-P) (hereby known as “TM”) to get feedback from customer based on the customer’s experience of the service.
This Pilot Test is conducted to the selected customers of TM (including permanent residents or expatriates who are currently living in Malaysia) who are the subscriber of TM Fixed Line service..
2.1 The Pilot Test will commence from 31st May 2017 until further notice.
2.2 TM may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Pilot Test Period at any time without any prior notice (hereby known as “the Extended Period”). Any participation in the Pilot Test during the Extended Period (if any) is governed by these terms and conditions which shall remain in full force and effect and shall be read and construed to be enforceable
3.1 Should You are interested in joining the Pilot Test , please follow steps below:
3.2 All participation shall belong to and are the property of TM.
3.3 TM has the sole discretion on the final selection of the Participant in the Pilot Test
4.1 The Customer must ensure that all details given for the purpose of this Pilot Test are true, correct and accurate.
4.2 The Customer must also ensure that the telephone number provided is in existence and are contactable.
4.3 TM reserves the rights to verify the information provided by the Customer in any form it deems fit.
5.1 The Customer acknowledges, understands and agrees that their details may be shared by TM within its corporation for the purpose of the Pilot Test. Any Customer’s information or personal data (“Personal Data”) provided by the Customer to TM in connection with the Pilot Test shall be kept confidential except to any activities mentioned thereto. TM shall take all reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and prevent any corruption or loss, damage or destruction of Customer’s Personal Data and complies with the requirement of Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
5.2 The Customer agrees to keep secret all the information or details pursuant to this Pilot Test and the Customer shall not (except with prior written consent of TM) communicate or disclose anything related to this PILOT TEST to any person or entity for any purpose whatsoever.
6.1 TM reserves the rights to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions either in written or verbal communications without prior notice at any time.
6.2 By participating in this Pilot Test, the Customer agrees to be bound by this Terms and Conditions, notices, amendments and all decisions made by TM..
6.3 In the event of any dispute, conflict, uncertainty or ambiguity relating to the Terms and Conditions hereto, or any matter involving this Pilot Test, TM will resolve the matter in its absolute and unfettered discretion and the entire decision in the matter shall be conclusive and final.
7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, TM makes no representations or warranties with respect to the Pilot Test and its service; in particular, TM gives no warranty with respect to the suitability and/or compatibility of the device used by the Customer for the Pilot Test. The Customer acknowledges that the Customer has complied with the minimum technical requirements provided for the Pilot Test prior to any registration and the availability of service on the Customer’s device.
7.2 In no event TM will be liable to the Customer for any direct, indirect, consequential or special damages whatsoever suffered by the Customer or any other party relating in any way to their participation in the Pilot Test or pursuant to any activities contemplated herein.
7.3 The Customer shall assume full liability in the case of any mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents resulting from their participation in the Pilot Test and during the activity carried out pursuant to this Pilot Test.
7.4 TM shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any circumstances amounting to force majeure..
7.5 TM shall not be liable to the Customer for (a) any loss or damage suffered by the Customer arising from the Customer’s participation or non‐participation in the Pilot Test due to any act or omission by the Customer and; (b) for any misuse of this PILOT TEST or for any claims or liability arising from such misuse.
7.6 TM shall not be liable for any loss or any damage sustained by reason of any disclosure, inadvertent or otherwise in any information concerning the Customer's account and/or personal particulars pursuant to this Pilot Test. Neither shall TM be liable for errors, omissions or inaccuracies whether or not due to TM's neglect.
7.7 TM shall use its best endeavour to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the service at all times during the PILOT TEST Period but shall not be liable for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, arising out of any failure of the service caused. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, the extent of TM's liability shall be limited to correcting the failure of the service during the Pilot Test Period (if any).
8.1 TM reserves the right at its sole discretion and without having to assign any reason whatsoever, to disqualify the Customer for the following:
8.2 The decision by TM to disqualify any Customer shall be final.
8.3 TM reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude the Customer and discontinue the Customer’s participation in the Pilot Test for violating any of the Terms and Conditions herein.
9.1 TM reserves the right to cancel, suspend, delay or terminate the Pilot Test at its absolute discretion without giving prior written notice to the Customer or in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9.2 In the event of suspension, cancellation, delay or termination of the Customer for any reason by TM, the Customer shall not be entitled to make any claim or claim for compensation from TM for any loss or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the said occurrence.
This Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
11.1 The Voice2email facility service is provided for the purpose of this Pilot Test on "as is" basis. TM makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of accuracy and expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
11.2 While every care is taken by TM in the provision of the service for this Pilot Test, TM shall not be liable for any loss of information/data howsoever caused whether as a result of any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service or otherwise, or for the content accuracy or quality of information available, received or transmitted through the service during the Pilot Test Period.
11.3 The Customer shall be solely responsible, and TM shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever, for ensuring that in using the service for this Pilot Test , all applicable laws, rules and regulations for the use of any telecommunications systems, service or equipment shall be at all times complied with.
11.4 The Customer shall exercise discretion while completing the Pilot Test exercise at all times and TM shall not be held responsible and hereby disclaims any and all liabilities whatsoever with regard to any information accessed by the Customer.
11.5 TM does not warrant that the Pilot Test exercise, (a) will not be interrupted or error-free, or, (b) will prevent unauthorised access by third parties. TM does not authorize anyone to make a warranty of any kind on its behalf and the Customer should not rely on anyone making such statements.
11.6 TM further does not make any warranty that the service shall be free of or immune to viruses, and/or other forms of software-related infections or malicious code (collectively, “Malware”), nor does it accept any responsibility for the security and integrity of data transmitted over the internet to, from or through the service (if any), including but not limited to TM’s website. Customers are advised to take appropriate precautions against such Malware, including but not limited to the installation and use of appropriate anti-virus software while using the service during Pilot Test Period.
12.1 The service provided by TM for the purpose of this Pilot test contain Intellectual Property Rights which is the property belong to its developer and/or has been licensed TM. In these circumstances, TM and/or its licensors shall retain exclusive ownership to the Intellectual Property Rights.
12.2 Subject to the Customer’s compliance with this Terms and Conditions, the Customer is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-sub licensable, non-assignable, and free of charge license to use the service during the Pilot Test Period on an authorized Customer’s device.
12.3 The Customer agrees not to sub-license, sell, rent, assign, lease, export, import, distribute or transfer or grant to a third party any rights granted herein for such use.
13.1 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Customer will defend, indemnify and hold TM save and harmless from any and all claims, suits, actions, demands, costs, settlements, losses, damages, expenses and all other liabilities including reasonable attorney's fees (collectively "the Claims"), arising out of or resulting from its breach of this terms and conditions or the intentionally wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of the Customer, in the performance of or failure to perform their obligations under this terms and conditions or in relation to the Customer’s use of the service during the Pilot Test Period.
13.2 The Customer will be responsible for and shall accordingly fully indemnify TM in respect of any breach or threatened breach of any intellectual property rights by any of its representatives, and undertakes to take any and all such action as TM reasonably deem fit and necessary to prevent any threatened breach, or contain the effects of any breach or suspected breach, at the Customer’s costs.
The Customer shall not assign any of his rights or obligations under this Terms and Conditions to any other person whatsoever except with prior approval of TM. TM may assign or novate this Terms and Conditions or any part thereof to anybody corporate which is a parent company, subsidiary or related company of TM and consent for the abovementioned is hereby given by the Customer.
16.1 No delay or indulgence by TM in enforcing any Terms or Conditions herein or granting of time by TM to the Customer shall prejudice the rights or powers of TM under this Terms and Conditions or at law.
16.2 Failure by TM to exercise any part or all of its rights under this Terms and Conditions or any partial exercise shall not act as a waiver of such right nor shall any waiver by TM of any breach constitute a continuing waiver in respect of any subsequent or continuing breach.
